When does AstroBrew ship?

AstroBrew is expecting to start shipping to customers on December 1, 2024.

All pre orders are eligible for a refund up to 30 after the shipping date.

Why is the ship date so far away?

AstroBrew is a brand new startup founded by a former Keurig Dr Pepper Thermal Engineer. AstroBrew believes in strong quality products, and manufacturing takes time. Please support AstroBrew as much as possible as we work hard to manufacture your revolutionary cold coffee brewer.

Will AstroBrew run a Kickstarter campaign?

AstroBrew does not plan to run a kickstarter at this time. However there are plenty of other ways to support us. Purchase our branded premium specialty coffee and our future offerings of branded gear! Alternatively check out our Facebook page for events to come see a demo of AstroBrew.

What is cold brew coffee?

Cold brew coffee is coffee that is brewed using cold water for an extended period of time, typically 12 to 24 hours. This slow, low-temperature extraction process results in a coffee that is smooth, less acidic, and more concentrated than traditionally brewed coffee.

Why does it take so long to make cold brew coffee?

Extracting the flavors from coffee grinds with boiling water can result in the release of acids. This is why hot coffee tastes so bitter.

Cold Brew slowly steeps the grinds in stagnant water and prevents acid release.

AstroBrew patented brewing technology speeds the process up from 24 hours down to 20 minutes. Amazing!

How does it work?

Can I use it to make iced tea?

Absolutely!

Do I need to add ice to AstroBrew?

No ice required. However if you are drinking your cold brew on-the-go, we recommend ice to keep your drink colder for longer.

How do I clean my AstroBrew?

The container and coffee filter are stainless steel. The coffee filter is removable for cleaning.

There is a secondary filter for prevent debris from entering the pump. It is removable and should be cleaned monthly.

AstroBrew is lightweight, less than 5 lbs and can be washed in you sink when unplugged from power. Alternatively, a wash cloth wetted with warm water and soap may be used to wipe down the interior of the container.
